Persona Parade | Korean Artists Group Exhibition
Chinese original:
面孔遊行|Persona Parade|韓國藝術家聯展
Taking Carl Jung's “persona” (the face a person presents to society to fit in) as its theme, the show presents 21 paintings by four Korean artists, Han Seunghun, Park Nina, Yang Eunbong and YUJA: doll-like faces in stillness, cakes and bears, VOO the stitched doll, and boys and girls among flowers and plants. Yang Eunbong's VOO comes from the voodoo dolls of novels and films, and what he looks to is the doll that is pierced by needles and quietly endures. It is a joint project of Neverland Gallery in Taipei and Gallery Aile in Seoul.
