Amid Countless Beginnings
Korean original:
무수한 시작의 가운데에서
A two-artist show at Vidi Gallery, 24 October–17 November, with paintings by Im Sangbin and Kim Daum. Im Sangbin looks at the possibilities within a single stroke: a mark left by the body's movement, which meets other strokes and brings out forms not seen before. Kim Daum lets paint flow and dry into colour fields she cannot predict, then lays rectangles of fixed size and spacing over them, on uncertain tomorrows and repeated days. Open Tuesday to Saturday, by Myeongdong Station.
