Kim Ji-hye’s Inaugural Solo Exhibition at Space Second View in 2026: [A Heart That Blooms for a Long Time]

Kim Ji-hye has long used withered flowers to explore the passing of time in ageing. This solo show centres on recent work from 2023 to 2026, 21 pieces in all, along with earlier works such as His flowers (2008) and Dry flowers (2014). Wreaths and bunches float in a space with no perspective or gravity. Up close, each flower resolves into low-saturation planes crossed by layers of fine brush lines that follow not the grain of the petals but the grain of time.
