The art gallery of Ginza Maison Hermès, the building Hermès opened in Ginza in 2001 to a design by the architect Renzo Piano, its walls made of glass blocks that glow like a lantern. Hermès's shop takes the basement to the 4th floor; Le Forum is on the 8th floor, and a small cinema that takes bookings, Le Studio, is on the 10th. Le Forum is run by the Fondation d'entreprise Hermès, a non-profit founded in Paris in 2008 that supports the arts, the passing on of skills, the environment and education.
