Sehwa Museum of Art
Korean original:
세화미술관
It opened in March 2010 as Iljoo & Sunhwa Gallery and, after renovation, reopened under its present name in 2017, on the second floor of the Heungkuk Life Building. Its programme follows three lines: exchange exhibitions with artists in Korea and abroad, support for emerging artists, and thematic shows. Public works from the Sehwa Art and Culture Foundation's collection, among them Jonathan Borofsky's Hammering Man and Kang Ik-joong's Beautiful Land, stand permanently in public spaces.
